Welcome to the December/January edition of our newsletter "From the Masthead"
This newsletter is a repeat of the reminders we do every year-end. We cover the tax items to remember, as well as the travel issues employees need to be aware of. This is timely, as the weather gets colder, and employees and their families head south to warmer climates.
At this festive time of year we also like to say thank you for the part you play in our business, and our life overall. Each year and on behalf of our clients and friends, we make a donation in lieu of gifts and cards. This year our donation has been made to Hands Across the Nations, a charity entirely run entirely by volunteers.
• They work with small rural communities in South America and Africa to provide development assistance. Their motto...We aren’t saviours, we’re partners.
• Their method is simple. They work with locals to build self-reliant communities through project-based initiatives. They partner with community leaders and help communities form committees to ensure the projects are sustainable. They focus on creating lasting change to permanently enhance the overall quality of life and standard of living.
