It’s not just a tagline, but a meaningful way to make a difference, save lives and give back.
I am a regular donor at York Region blood donor clinics where I made my 100th donation on April 17th, 2026. Since then I have switched to donating plasma as Canada actually spends over $1 BILLION dollars a year to buy plasma from the US.
I can donate more often, with plasma donations, and there are fewer restrictions due to travel, which comes in handy when we travel to The Gambia and other spots in Africa with a malaria risk. Both Whole Blood and Plasma are needed.
I’m sharing the videos below hoping to motivate those of you that don’t already donate (and can) to do so. You never know whose life you may save.
